The "Aunt Ilene Series" is a series of paintings of -- as the title suggests -- Aunt Ilene. Ilene is my mother's sister and the oldest of the Ferrini girls who grew up on a ranch along HWY 68 in Salinas California. Ilene is an artist, curator, and writer, currently living in Pebble Beach. She is one of my favorite models to paint; these are from vintage photographs in the albums that she and her sisters created every year for the family.

Hello again...it has been almost a year since I have posted new art!
